Children’s socks featured characters from Frozen were recalled today over fears that they contain chemicals that they cause cancer.
A sock featuring Princess Anna of Arendelle from the 2013 hit Disney fantasy film may contain a chemical that can become carcinogenic.
The blue sock has been sold by Finnish-owned fashion chain Lindex in a three-pack with others featuring Queen Elsa and Olaf the Snowman.

The recall was sparked after the discovery in one product delivery of the banned chemical which breaks down into substances suspected to be carcinogenic.
Anybody who has bought the socks has been urged to return them to their nearest Lindex store for a refund. Carcinogens are substances involved in causing cancer.
Social media users were outraged by the news, with Lisa Nother writing on Facebook: ‘OMG, this is not good enough. It’s kids’ socks FFS.’
Samantha Suki Lowe said: ‘Seriously, how is this even allowed? Consumers are being sold poisonous clothing, then told at a later date after sales to return.’
