DJ Dean Cherny puts his fashionable Elsternwick home on the market

DJ Dean Cherny has listed his unique Elsternwick house and private music library on the property market. 

The 48 Edward St abode has been the Cherny family home for the past 13 years, but Dean and his wife Tanya have now decided to sell their residence with a $3.6million to $3.9million dollar price guide attached, according to Realestate.com.au.  

Dean and Tanya began doing extensive renovations to the property five years ago with the help of Flack Studio – who worked on singer Troye Sivan’s Carlton pad – to give it its contemporary and stylish look. 

‘The house is made for entertaining and being able to bring together our friends and family in our home has been very special over the years,’ the pair said. 

‘Let’s just say there may have been an after party at our house one night that saw one of Australia’s most pre-eminent music artists jump on the piano for an impromptu performance,’ Tanya commented. 

The Cherny home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a home studio and five roomy living spaces with an eye-catching interior design.

In 2010, he was specially picked by none other than George Michael to support him on his final Australian tour.   

Dean’s property goes to auction on February 19.
