It comes after the DJ treated a few hundred fans to a surprise gig in Sydney earlier this month.

The UK-based DJ, whose real name is Frederick John Philip Gibson, performed at Club 77 in Darlinghurst in front of eager music lovers in what was a secret show.

A handful of fans were selected and notified of the show via a WhatsApp message directly from the musician.

‘Hi! Doing a random party tonight and we’ve randomly selected a few numbers to send ticket link to, so if you’re getting this message that’s u! If u wanna come!’ the message read.

Only 200 diehard fans scored tickets to the secret gig, while several missed out yet again on seeing the popular record producer live.

Fred kicked off his Australian tour in Melbourne, playing three back-to-back shows from March 4 to March 6 at Rod Laver Arena, before heading to a pop up location on the Gold Coast on March 9.

He then returned to Sydney for three shows at Qudos Bank Arena from March 12 to March 14.
