- Video shows a couple tying the knot in Little Cay on the Honduran island of Utila
- But the small dock they’re on quickly collapses under the crowd’s weight
- The guests – and the camera – are all suddenly plunged into the turquoise waters
- Thankfully, no-one is hurt, and the bride and groom remain dry
Some weddings end without a dry eye in the house; for several guests this one ended without a dry anything.
The hilarious footage, filmed on a dock at Little Cay on the Honduran island of Utila, starts simply enough: A couple in love, preparing to say their vows.
But then the stirring music ends – and the panicked flailing begins.
This was the scene just a fraction of a second before a wedding party was plunged into the sea off the coast of Honduras after the dock beneath them collapsed – note their surprised faces
The home movie, shot by guest Ariana Alva Ferrari, turns into a mini disaster flick as the guests plunge into the water – taking the camera with them.
Thankfully it’s waterproof, and a few moments later Ferrari has picked it up out of the turquoise waves to reveal the chaos.
Nobody seems to be harmed, and the bride and groom are high and dry – and helping the giggling guests back onto the dock.
And at least they got their ‘something blue’…
Thankfully nobody appeared to be hurt, and the dry bride and groom were able to help the soaked – but laughing – guests out of the water
