Does paying for sex count as cheating? Kyle and Jackie O try to answer the burning question – and they offer some very surprising answers

Does paying for sex count as cheating?

The team at KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show attempted to answer the tough question on Wednesday and came up with a number of surprising answers.

In a clip shared by the show, a man asked people on the streets of Tokyo if visiting a prostitute is cheating.

All of the four women explained they didn’t think paying for sex was cheating, which host Kyle Sandilands and newsreader Brooklyn Ross agreed with.

‘I’m not down for that at all,’ Jackie countered.

‘Why not?’ Kyle asked.

‘It’s cheating,’ Jackie said flatly.

Brooklyn said it was ‘just sex’ so it didn’t count as cheating.

‘It’s usually not about you, the woman,’ Kyle said. ‘It makes you think ”yeah I’ve still got it”’ he added.

Jackie asked what about kissing, touching and being intimate, which she felt was cheating.

‘If your husband cheats, it’s like you’re taking it as a personal attack on you. Like you’re not good enough, but you know, that’s bullsh*t,’ Brooklyn said.

‘[Men or the partner paying for it] are just horny?’ he added.

A number of the show’s fans hit out at Kyle and Brooklyn, asking if they’d be happy if their partners visited a brothel.

The segment was in response to a man asking women, believed to be in Tokyo, if they thought 'paying for sex' was cheating. All of the four surveyed said no

‘So Kyle and Brooklyn would be fine if their partners did this then,’ one woman asked.

‘100% cheating. Any sort of sexual interaction be it physical or even verbal (online, texting ect) it’s cheating,’ another wrote.

‘It’s cheating anyway you touch or intent another person if your in a relationship is cheating,’ yet another added.

‘Yes. It’s cheating. It is a personal attack. If a man is horny than he has the perfect person waiting at home,’ another added.
