Dog the Bounty Hunter’s daughter Bonnie Chapman left devastated after her house burns down killing six of her pets and destroying sentimental photos of her late mom Beth
The daughter of Dog the Bounty Hunter and his late wife Beth says she lost six pets in a house fire in Fishersville, Virginia on Tuesday.
Bonnie Chapman told TMZ that she was with her boyfriend Ismael at work when she was notified on Tuesday about the fire at the rental home.
‘While I was at work, I got a call that my house was on fire,’ Bonnie told the outlet. ‘Immediately, I packed up my things and I left work as quick as I could.’
Bonnie said that she headed to the home, on hopes she had received bad information, but found it ablaze when she arrived.
She said that all six of her pets – three cats, one dog, one gecko and a snake – had died from inhaling smoke.

She told the outlet: ‘When I arrived at the scene, the fire had initially told me told me that they had found two cats and they were looking for any other animal.’
Bonnie told the outlet that thankfully, the ashes of her late mother Beth – who died at the age of 51 from cancer in 2019 – were not lost in the fire.
‘That was one of my main worries,’ she said of the ashes.
She said that some photos and belongings from her late mother were lost in the blaze, but she was able to salvage others.

Bonnie said that she would not be starting a Go Fund Me drive, but would be looking into cremation rings or commissioning portraits to honor the memory of her pets
Bonnie said that her beloved cat Plum was among the casualties of the fire
‘A big chunk of my belongings are destroyed or are engulfed in smoke,’ she said.

‘That’s how I’m gonna honor them,’ she said, ‘and I’m gonna keep them with me at all times because they have filled my life with so many memories.’
Fire officials told the outlet that an electrical malfunction caused the blaze.
