A dog wearing a shirt, who was taken off her ‘drunken’ owner by police, is now ‘happy and being looked after’ by family of the woman.

Pooch Mia was taken in by police a week ago after they had received a text from a member of the public worried about her welfare.

They rushed to the scene to find the mutt dressed in a light blue shirt and on a red lead.

Officers say the owner was ‘intoxicated’ and not looking after the Mia.

After checking on its welfare officers decided to take the dog off the drunk owner in Wolverhampton.
