Dolores Catania shows off her curves after admitting she takes celebrity weight-loss drug Ozempic

Dolores Catania showed off her slimmed-down figure on Thursday after admitting she is taking a new celebrity weight-loss drug. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey reality star, 52, flaunted her slimmed down frame in a figure-hugging long sleeve black midi dress with cream heels.

Catania opted for a glamorous makeup palette and accessorized her look with pink nails, a dainty gold bracelet, and a gold watch.

The businesswoman wore diamond stud earrings that peeked out from behind her long, brunette tresses in a sleek and straight hairstyle.

Her boyfriend, actor Paul Connell, joined the reality TV star as they visited SiriusXM Studios in New York City.

Connell coordinated with his date in an all-black outfit with suede boots, a gold watch, and clear-framed glasses as he posed alongside Dolores.

Last month, the philanthropist and entrepreneur admitted she lost weight with the help of diabetes drugs.

A week after her admission, Catania’s doctor, Rocio Salas-Whalen, defended her decision to prescribe Mounjaro, a drug similar to Ozempic, during an interview with Today.

‘Whenever we see somebody that we may think they don’t need the medication unless you’re their doctor, you don’t know their medical history,’ she said.

Salas-Whalen went on to state that the general public should not rush to answers when an individual admits to using the medication, which has widely been touted as an easy way to lose weight in a short amount of time.

‘Nobody can assume just by looking at somebody that they don’t need it or that they’re doing it for the wrong reasons,’ she said.

Catania discussed using the weight loss drug Mounjaro during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, 54.

When Cohen asked Catania if she was using the medication, she replied: ‘What housewife isn’t on Ozempic?’

She then remarked that she did not want to be the heaviest individual on the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

‘I wasn’t going to come to [the] reunion looking bigger than anyone else, so I got on the bandwagon,’ she said.

‘The reunion is in two weeks. I do have a trainer [as well],’ Catania said.

When asked if she has experienced any side effects by the host, the mother-of-two said only that she is ‘not hungry.’

The TV personality then clarified that she was ‘actually [taking] Mounjaro,’ which is a very similar drug to Ozempic.

After the episode aired, viewers flocked to social media to call out Catania’s latest interview as ‘unhealthy and triggering.’

‘Dolores saying it’s #Ozempic so proudly just took me out lol smh [shaking my head],’ one Twitter user wrote.

Another asked: ‘Wait, isn’t there a shortage of Ozempic for diabetes patients? And Dolores just casually admitted she’s on it with a big smile on her face?’

A third noted that it was ‘kind of messed up that Dolores and the rest of the #RHONJ cast’ were ‘so quick to jump on the Ozempic train as their cast mate Jackie [Goldschneider] is recovering from an eating disorder.’

Her ex-husband Frank Catania, said, ‘Put some f***ing clothes on @dolorescatania,’ and daughter Gabrielle commented: ‘All my childhood nightmares of @nicklarson7 seeing you naked just came true.’

Prior to joining the Housewives, Dolores had been employed as a waitress, shampoo girl, corrections officer, realtor, and surgical assistant. She actively owns a fitness franchise and flips houses with her ex-husband.
