Donald Trump Junior unveiled his daughter’s new Instagram account on Thursday, telling followers the 11-year-old was desperate to join the social media site.
He shared her first post on his own page to promote her account, and pleaded with followers to be kind to her.
‘Kai wanted to join the ranks of you social media savages with her own IG page (monitored closely by mom and dad) so here we go,’ he wrote.
‘Be nice she’s 11.’

Trump Jr’s decision to allow his 11-year-old daughter on social media comes just one day after actor Peter Fonda suggested throwing her 12-year-old uncle Barron Trump into a ‘cage with pedophiles’ in response to the US President’s immigration policy.
Kai’s account is also in violation of Instagram’s policy on who can use the site. The terms and conditions state users must be over the age of 13, two years older than Kai is now.
Despite the possible pitfalls, Trump and his estranged wife Vanessa have stayed true to their word to monitor the account.
In Kai’s first post, hateful comments have clearly been deleted, but the supportive responses to them and positive comments have been left up.

Many have praised the youngster’s golfing skills, with some even joking she is better than her President grandfather, who is known for his love of golf.
Some went as far as to suggest the avid golfer should set her sights beyond the golf course and on to the White House, with one user calling her ‘our future female president!’
Instagram has not removed the account, despite Kai stating in her bio she is only 11-years-old, and the President’s granddaughter has racked up more than 8,000 followers in less than half a day.
