Donald Glover goes shirtless while out in Manhattan as he tries to beat the triple-digit heat wave

Donald Glover showed off his athletic physique while stepping out shirtless in a pair of yellow shorts and a matching bucket hat in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.

In an effort to battle the extreme heatwave that’s been hitting New York City for the past week with over 100-degree weather, the actor, 38, wore lightweight bottoms, which displayed his muscular legs, and no other clothing.

He completed his funky outfit with a black crossbody bag, several gold necklaces, black shades and a pair of bright yellow sneakers.

As he strolled around, and a times jogged, the star, who also goes by the stage name Childish Gambino, kept a pair of white wireless headphones in his ears.

His longtime partner Michelle White, who he began dating in 2015, and their three sons Legend, six, Drake, four, and Donald, who they welcomed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, did not appear present on his latest outing. 

As a couple they have stayed largely out of the spotlight, and the first time she was known was shortly after they welcomed their first child.

When he accepted his Emmy for his show Atlanta in 2017, he thanked his ‘love’ and let it slip that the pair were expecting a second child.

‘I want to thank Michelle, my partner, you love me even with how crazy I get,’ he said before thanking his ‘son’ and ‘unborn son.’

In January 2018 the pair welcomed their second child, a son named Drake, and in October 2020 he revealed by way of a GQ interview that Michelle had given birth to a third son named Donald.

Privacy: The Atlanta star has chosen to keep his family life out of the spotlight and it is not known when he and Michelle first began dating as her identity was only revealed following the birth of their first son in 2016; pictured 2019

‘You know, I had [a kid] during the coronavirus,’ Glover very casually said, before dating the birth back to the spring, as he cited seeing the George Floyd video an hour after the delivery.

He also shared that the duo had talked about adoption. ‘We have three boys so I’m like, “Oh, it might be nice to be get a girl in there,” he shared, calling it a ‘great option.’

In May, he sparked headlines for saying that people are creating ‘boring’ and less ‘experimental’ television and films because they are ‘afraid of getting cancelled on Twitter.
