Donald Trump Jr. will make $100K for Texas college speech

President Trump’s eldest son will make $100,000 next month for delivering a speech and answering a half-hour of questions – which he will see in advance.

The University of North Texas will host the October 24 event, the school’s student newspaper reported Thursday.

Trump Jr. is expected to deliver his speech at AT&T Stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys play.

AT&T Stadium seats 80,000 people but can accommodate more than 104,000 for concerts and other events that don’t require the use of the football field.

The North Texas Daily has seen a contract between Trump and the university, located 40 miles northwest of Dallas.

The contract, which Trump Jr. has signed, calls for a 30-minute lecture followed by a half-hour Q&A session, VIP photo-ops and a dinner the night before.

He will also get a $5,000 allowance to spend on travel, lodging and meals.

It’s unclear who is providing the funds to pay Trump Jr. UNT told the student paper that it couldn’t produce documents listing the sponsors of the Kuehne Speaker Series.

But the series’ website identifies Ryan, LLC, a Dallas-based corporate tax services firm, as its biggest sponsor, contributing at least $100,000 for the 2017-2018 school year.

That company donated $250,000 to President Trump’s inaugural committee in late 2016 and wrote a $250,000 check to a super PAC aligned with former Republican Gov. Rick Perry in 2015.

The Kuehne Speaker Series website lists Trump Jr. and Fox Business Network anchor Melissa Francis as its only confirmed speakers for the new academic year.

Past speakers have included Fox Business host Charles Gasparino, Fox News Channel hosts Kimberly Guilfoyle and Andrea Tantaros, investor T. Boone Pickens, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and General Keith Alexander, the former National Security Agency director.

Trump Jr. did not immediately respond to a question on Friday about whether he intends to donate his speaking fee to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts or other charitable causes.
