A doting couple has proven that at-home security cameras can capture a lot more than package thieves and pet antics – revealing how their Ring system has provided them with heartwarming footage of their most important romance milestones.
Megan, 24, and Alex Herring, 28, from Georgia, have stolen the hearts of everyone on the web after sharing a handful of ‘first’ memories from their relationship – that were all taped on their home camera.
The couple has their Ring video device to thank for giving them the chance to look back on their love affair and reflect on everything from their first date to their wedding day.
The gadget – which serves as a home security device – captured the moment the pair hugged goodbye after their first date and even their wedding day.

The couple also managed to capture bringing puppy Cooper home.
In a later clip, the little golden retriever can be seen mooching about the house as Megan crouches down to stroke him.
Megan said: ‘I got emotional. These were major life events that were incredibly special to us.
‘I truly treasure Ring was able to catch this on video and that I can watch and relive these days.
‘Our life together has been so full of recent ‘firsts’ – first date, first night married, first time bringing home our puppy.
‘And Ring captured each special memory for us to look back on and cherish.’
Megan and Alex first met in 2018 at their local church, but began dating the following year, according to the couple’s wedding registry.
After meeting at their church, the duo struck up a friendship.

When the pair both went to Boston for a Mission Trip, they began to form a closer bond.
After the trip, Alex and Megan began to communicate regularly.
The lovebirds even planned a young adult church event, but as fate would have it, they were the only two that showed up.
Not too long after, the couple’s mutual friend was having a gender reveal party, and Alex and Megan decided to go together.
Later that night, while at Megan’s apartment, Alex confessed his feelings towards the 24-year-old.
Alex asked Megan on a date and she said ‘yes.’
In September 2019, the lovebirds went on their first date at a café.
While on the ride home, Alex played the song White Dress by Ben Rector and the two instantly knew they were meant to be.
