He said he is yet to hear the full details of the Wednesday night home invasion, but told of his relief that his wife and children are safe.

Kemsley said: ‘I don’t know a lot at the moment. I just know thank God my babies are ok, thank God Dorit’s ok. She’s at home but not alone and I’m rushing to her now.’

Dorit, 45, was held at gunpoint during the burglary, which began when three men broke into the house through the classroom door.

The Housewives star was at home with her two children Jagger, seven, and Phoenix, five, at the time.

A source close to the mom-of-two told DailyMail.com that two of the three stormed into her bedroom while she was sleeping.

The insider said Dorit was forced to beg for her life, pleading: ‘Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me. I’m a mother.’

Her ordeal went on for 20 minutes and ended with the men fleeing her home after ransacking it and making off with her jewelry and stash of designer purses.

Dad-of-five Kemsley, who has been married to second wife Dorit since 2015, told DailyMail.com he hopes all of the stolen goods were insured. Asked about the valuables, he said: ‘I hope so. I hope everything’s insured. It was a real shock.’

The LAPD is investigating the break-in but said the identity of the three men and the value of their haul remain unknown.
