Dr Chris Brown reveals he finds it ‘really hard’ to be in a relationship – and why the idea of starring on The Bachelor ‘makes his skin crawl’
Dr Chris Brown is known for keeping his private life very private.
The celebrity vet tells this week’s episode of the Stellar podcast Something To Talk About that he prefers not to open his love life to public scrutiny.
‘The challenge, really, is that it’s hard enough to meet the right person, anyway’ the 44-year-old said.
‘That extra layer of speculation and interest… once you’re actually in a relationship it’s easy, but it’s meeting that person at the start that’s really hard.’
Chris said that media speculation about his romantic interests is ‘funny’ to him but can be a lot to handle for his loved ones.

‘If you’ve been through that like I have, you can kind of see the funny side’ he said.
‘But for someone new to that, it’s a lot to take on board for what might have been one date.’
When it comes to looking for love on television, Chris refuted rumours that he would ever appear on The Bachelor.
‘The idea of trying to meet someone with – you know, conservatively – 10 cameras and about 120 crew around, I’d probably struggle with that’ he said, adding that the ‘just the thought’ of kissing someone on camera repeatedly, ‘makes my skin crawl.’
Chris is believed to be dating model Brooke Meredith, but the pair are rarely seen together in public.

Reports first surfaced Chris was dating leggy stunner Brooke in 2020.
According to Woman’s Day magazine, the couple all-but-confirmed their romance when they were busted packing on the PDA while shopping for cleaning supplies at Bunnings Warehouse in Randwick, Sydney, in April that year.
‘They looked very much like a couple,’ an insider told the publication.
Chris and Brooke, who reportedly met through mutual celebrity friends, stayed in his Clovelly home during Sydney’s lockdowns.
Brooke a successful model and also the creator of health and wellness magazine, A Conscious Collection.
Chris was previously in a relationship with Channel Ten personality, Liv Phyland.
