Dr Dre demands five-day trial as soon as possible on prenup

Dr Dre has demanded a five-day trial as soon as possible to judge whether his prenuptial agreement still stands in his ongoing divorce with estranged with Nicole Young.

Young, 51,  has claimed that during their marriage he ‘tore up multiple copies of the agreement’ and confessed he had ‘pressured’ her into it.

However Dre, 56, who has disputed her version of events, now wants a snap court proceeding to determine the viability of the document, TMZ reports.

The hip hop icon is being represented by top showbiz divorce lawyer Laura Wasser who is also now working for Kim Kardashian in her split from Kanye West.

Nicole filed court documents last year insisting that Dre, real name Andre Young, renounced the prenuptial agreement two years after their 1996 wedding.

‘Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me. Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement, and that it was null and void,’ her documents claimed.

However he has insisted that he neither ‘pressured’ her nor ‘tore up the agreements,’ noting further that the prenup contains a clause stipulating that all changes to it must be made in writing in order to apply.

Dr Dre appeared to slam his estranged wife in a snippet from his new track that went public Monday night.

He collaborated with KXNG Crooked and DJ Silk on the song, TMZ reported, and Silk has now shared a clip of it on Instagram Live.

In the lyrics Dre refers to someone ‘trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury,’ and discusses having a recent health crisis.

‘I see you trying to f*** me while I’m in surgery, in ICU death bed on some money s***,’ he raps: ‘Greedy b****, take a pic, girl you know how money get,’ it is also sung.

At the beginning of last month he suffered a brain aneurysm and was briefly hospitalized, spending time in the intensive care unit.

The preview of the song went public three days after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge refused to rule on whether three of Dr Dre’s alleged mistresses will have to testify in the rapper’s messy divorce, new court documents reveal.

The music mogul’s estranged wife Nicole Young has been trying to subpoena his purported lovers as witnesses in the couple’s acrimonious split after 24 years of marriage.

Singer Jillian Speer, model turned skin care entrepreneur Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers, aka Crystal Sierra, who is known as the ‘Queen of Latin hip-hop’, were named in a court filing by Young in October.  All three women have opposed Young’s effort.

In court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, the women’s lawyer Kris LeFan, who said the motion was ‘nothing more than a continuation of [Nicole’s] desperate efforts to annoy and harass [Dre] into disregarding the parties’ prenuptial agreement and harass’ her clients.

‘The court should quash or delay enforcement of Nicole’s subpoenas of (the three women) because the subpoenas seek testimony which they are unable to provide,’ the filing stated.

But Judge Michael Powell Friday refused to consider the women’s legal action and instead turned the decision over to a discovery referee – a private judge appointed last year to adjudicate all evidence presented in the case.

The judge was also asked to address another motion from Dre’s attorneys to throw out a separate civil case in which Nicole, 51, is laying claim to half his estimated $1billion business empire.

Dre, 56, wants the financial issues from that civil suit dealt with by the divorce court, instead of the civil court. The judge will issue a written ruling on that motion later.

The couple’s nasty divorce fight centers on the pre-marital agreement they signed in 1996, which he says still exists and she says he tore up in front of her after they married in a gesture of his love for her.

Dre – real name Andre Young – wants the court to determine whether the prenup is valid and enforceable.

Since Nicole filed for divorce in June last year, their split has become more and more contentious.

In October, Dre accused his wife of criminal conduct in ’embezzling’ more than $350,000 from one of their bank accounts.

Last month DailyMail.com revealed that Nicole filed court documents accusing Dre of violent and emotional abuse during their 24-year marriage.

The music tycoon held a gun to her head, punched her in the face and slammed her against a wall, lifting her off her feet by her neck, she declared.

Shortly after her scathing declaration to the court, Nicole’s legal team huddled with Dr Dre’s lawyers and the end result was that Dre – reportedly still in his hospital bed after suffering a brain aneurysm – signed an agreement to pay Nicole a lump sum of $2million in temporary support till April.

Dre had been paying Nicole $293,000 a month in support, but she is asking the court to force him to pay her almost $2million a month, plus another $5million for attorney fees.

Nicole – who claimed in legal documents that Dre has more than $260 million on hand in cash and Apple stocks – contends that she has a right to continue the lavish lifestyle she had as Mrs. Andre Young – which she said cost around $2.3million per month.

Michel’le, who dated Dre in the 1990s, has repeatedly accused him of physical abuse which he denied in 2016 while threatening suit over a Lifetime movie about the subject. TV host Dee Barnes has also written that he beat her up at a party in 1991.
