Drake shows off his hometown pride for Toronto with his new jewel-encrusted necklace and pendant

Drake proved his devotion to his hometown of Toronto with his brand-new jewel-encrusted chain and pendant.

The 36-year-old performer’s new accessory was shown off in a video that was shared on jeweler Alex Moss’ Instagram account on Wednesday, and TMZ reported that the item was nicknamed the ‘Crown Jewel of Toronto.’

The rapper, who recently referred to Joe Budden as a ‘failure,’ commissioned a sizable chain fitted with designs meant to represent his hometown’s sports teams, namely the Maple Leafs, Raptors and Blue Jays.

Drake also requested that Toronto’s famed CN Tower was also included in the final design, and the landmark made up a considerable portion of the accessory’s pendant.

The Find Your Love singer has also made an open offer to his hometown’s sports teams in which he will allow any of them to retain the necklace for an entire offseason if they win a championship title.

Although the Blue Jays were eliminated from postseason baseball last week, the Raptors and Maple Leafs are still eligible to receive the accessory.

Moss remained tight-lipped about the final price of the Grammy Award-winning artist’s new piece of jewelry.

The news about Drake’s accessory was revealed just a day after he completed the final show on his It’s All a Blur Tour.

The performer co-headlined the run of shows, which saw him trekking across North American, with 21 Savage.

The pair collaborated on the album Her Loss, which was released in November of last year.

Drake and 21 Savage kicked off their tour with a pair of shows at Chicago’s United Center on July 6 and 7.

However, the latter of the two was ultimately unable to join his collaborator during the tour’s initial Canadian stops in Montreal and Vancouver, owing to his formerly challenged immigration status.

The 30-year-old performer, whose legal problems stemmed from his birth in the United Kingdom, was ultimately filled in for by J. Cole and Travis Scott, respectively.

Drake appeared to confirm that 21 Savage had obtained a green card in his recently-released track 8AM In Charlotte, which was featured on his newest album For All The Dogs.

The No Heart rapper was expected to perform during the tour’s stop in Toronto on October 6, although he was ultimately replaced by Lil Baby.

According to TMZ, the performer was unable to join his collaborator after Canadian authorities denied him entry into the country at the last minute.

However, the performer subsequently joined Drake in Toronto for their October 7 concert, and they concluded their tour in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday.
