  • Asking price for the home in North Curl Curl is $9million
  • Couple also reportedly purchasing a mansion for $24.5million

Australian sporting power couple Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy have encountered some unexpected drama as they look to sell their spectacular home on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Starc, 33, and Healy, also 33, have resided in North Curl Curl the past few years, at the architect-designed home originally built by model Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall.

The house was due to be auctioned at the end of November, but the property listing no longer appears online.

It is understood negotiations are ongoing with an interested party, with the price guide at $9million.

The couple want the sale finalised urgently as they are believed to be buying a just-completed Californian-style ranch estate in Terrey Hills – also on Sydney’s northern beaches – for a jaw-dropping $24.5million.

According to The Australian Financial Review, the cricket stars – who were married in 2016 – have registered their interest in Charlotte Park, a 1.8-hectare estate.

The property features world-class equestrian facilities, a swimming pool, tennis court, a two-storey house with dramatic stone fireplaces, an American-style barn, a wine cellar and enough room for 13 cars.

Built on the site of a former Italian market garden, Charlotte Park was designed and constructed by Cadence & Co who took two years to complete the ranch-style home.

Other famous residents in Terrey Hills and its surrounds include former NSW Blues Origin coach Brad Fittler plus Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills.

It comes as Healy is expected to be announced as Meg Lanning’s replacement as Australia’s women’s cricket skipper and Starc recently won the ODI World Cup in India.

He will also be a key figure in the upcoming Test series against Pakistan – while his wife continues to recover after having surgery on her hand following a ‘domestic accident at home’ in October involving the couple’s dog.
