‘Dramatic’ Katy Perry has been brutally slammed online over her ‘try-hard’ antics following her 11-minute trip to space on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin spaceship.

The singer, 40, soared into the sky with a star-studded all-female crew including Lauren Sanchez and Gayle King on Monday morning.

The women crossed the Karman Line, often used as the boundary of space, and were treated to roughly three minutes of weightlessness before they headed back down to the ground.

Upon arriving back on Earth, each of the ladies were seen exiting the rocket one by one – but Katy’s reaction to completing the journey left many people all across the web unamused.

As she emerged from the ship, the Firework songstress stopped and held a daisy up to the sky for a couple seconds before she kissed it – in honor of her daughter.

She then flipped her hair with a dramatic swish before she headed down the ladder. Upon reaching the bottom, she got down on her hands and knees and kissed the ground dramatically.

And social media users were quick to bash Katy’s actions.

‘Oh dramatic. You were there for 20 seconds miss girl,’ one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter, in response to a clip of Katy getting off the ship.

‘Her kissing the ground as if she wasn’t gone for two seconds,’ added another, alongside some laughing emojis.

‘Girl get the f**k up,’ someone else quipped, while a fourth person chimed in, ‘It was only a 10-minute flight PLEASE.’

‘This b***h is so f**king dramatic,’ scathed someone else.

A sixth tweet read, ‘Drama queen,’ while a seventh said, ‘Seriously? This is so lame. Nothing but a photo op and a mockery of real space, travel, and actual astronauts.’

While chatting with reporters after the trip, Katy said it left her feeling ‘super connected to love.’

‘I think this experience has showed me that you never know how much love is inside of you and how much love you have to give and how loved you are,’ she gushed.

She described launching into space as the ‘highest high’ she ever felt, and revealed that she sang the song What A Wonderful World.

‘It’s not about me, it’s not about singing my songs, it’s about a collective energy in there,’ she said, when asked why she chose that song.

‘[The trip was] about us and making space for future women and taking up space and belonging,’ she continued.

‘It’s about this wonderful world that we see out there and appreciating it. This is all for the benefit of Earth.’

Explaining why she took a daisy, the name as her daughter, with her, Katy revealed that it’s a flower that can ‘grow in all conditions.’

‘Daisies are common flowers but they grow through any condition, they grow through cement, through cracks, through walls,’ she said.

‘They are resilient, they are powerful, they are strong, they are everywhere. To me, flowers are God’s smile.

‘They are a reminder of our beautiful earth and the beautiful magic that is everywhere all around us.’

The six-person crew also included film producer Kerianne Flynn, activist Amanda Nguyen, and former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe.

Their journey was powered by a reusable rocket which pushed the capsule into space before detaching and gently guiding itself back to Earth.

Katy shared a handwritten list of affirmations over the weekend, providing fans with a deeper look into her mindset ahead of soaring into space.

The first read, ‘I am safe – in all ways,’ leading many to believe that she was terrified about the endeavor.

‘I am a fearless, heart-centered leader that will continue to lead with love, justice, and be a candle for truth,’ the note continued.

‘I can surrender. I am all the love that I need. I have clarity. I return and process large amounts of information effortlessly.’

The star also broke down in a morning interview days before the launch, when asked if she had a message for her family.

‘My message is that I love them and I am so full of love,’ she said, wiping tears from her eyes.

‘I am so grateful to be representing fearless females in my family.’
