This is the dramatic moment Jeremy Kyle joined police as they smashed in the front door of a cannabis farm.

The controversial TV host accompanied officers as they discovered a crop worth £100k at a terraced house in Gloucestershire.

Footage taken for the Kyle Files programme followed a police crackdown on Albanian gangs and drug factories on October 11 last year.

The raids were the culmination of an eight-month investigation and saw around 50 officers raid six drug farms as well as five other properties, reports the Sun.

They recovered cannabis worth around £750,000 – with plants worth £100,000 seized from one property alone.

Dramatic footage shows the moment anti-drug officers smash in the door of a suspect’s home – before he bolts out the back in a bid to escape.

But police and dog teams give chase while Kyle watches on as officers inspect the cannabis find.

The TV host said: ‘It’s extraordinary. The thing is, you could just be living in your house and you wouldn’t know next door every room is crammed.’

Police claim it could have taken just weeks to set up the cannabis farm.
