Weather experts are investigating reports of a ‘landspout’ tornado that was believed to have been spotted in southern New Jersey on Saturday.
The Mount Laurel Fire Department posted video on its Facebook page showing what appears to be a tornado.
Landspout tornadoes rarely occur, and while they are generally very weak, they can cause damage.

The reported tornado sighting took place at around 2pm near the meeting point between the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295.
Some minor damage to buildings and a parked car were reported, according to CBS News.
