Drew Barrymore is overjoyed after Chloe Fineman spoofs her new talk show on Saturday Night Live

Drew Barrymore was over the moon after Saturday Night Live aired a sketch poking fun at her new talk show.

The 45-year-old Drew Barrymore Show host beamed ear-to-ear in photos she posted to her Instagram account on Sunday morning as she watched Chloe Fineman transform into her doppelgänger.

The sketched featured Fineman lovingly spoofing Drew’s breathless delivery and parodied her recent interviews wit Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Tom Green.

Big fan: Drew Barrymore, 45, was tickled at Saturday Night Live’s spoof of her new daytime talk show, with Chloe Fineman playing the iconic star

Drew looked as if she was cozily watching SNL from the comfort of her bed, revealing her TV setup in the room and her built-in bookshelves.

She shared a sweet photo of her smile as the sketch came on and followed it up with pictures of her laughing heartily.

She also included a photo from elsewhere in the episode, showing that she wasn’t just in it for the part about herself.

‘@nbssnl and @chloeisrazy is the greatest thing. I have loved SNL for as long as i know, and to also have the @thedrewbarrymoreshow brought to the party is so fun. Honored to be apart of it,’ she wrote.

‘PS #DREWSNEWS hearts #WEEKENDUPDATE,’ she added.

Her friend Reese also seemed to enjoy the portrayal.

‘So good & btw I do love you THAT much,’ she commented on Drew’s post while adding multiple pink heart emojis.

Chloe was also honored to be singled out for her performance.

‘I love you!!! Nothing better than getting to do Drew on SNL,’ she wrote.

Tom Green was similar enthused, commenting: ‘This was a great one! Amazing stuff Drew love this!!’

The sketch opened with Chloe expertly mimicking the cadences of Drew’s voice as she introduced her talk show, which premiered on September 15.

After the introduction, she spoke with a virtual audience member who revealed she had thousands of dollars of debt, only for the comedian to excitedly announce they were going to renovate her walk-in closet.

Afterward, Chloe’s version of Drew had fawning interviews with Reese and Nicole, and the show spoofed her sometimes awkward reunion with Tom.

The clip ended with ‘Drew’ introducing Kenan Thompson as Pose’s Billy Porter to sing a song to a large flower.

‘Is this really happening, or am I kinda high?’ he asks after stopping mid-song.

The sketch included a dig at Ellen Degeneres and the recent allegations of a toxic workplace on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

‘And don’t worry about her being mean to the crew. They say she maintains eye contact too long and is too emotionally supportive,’ Beck Bennet’s announcer said as Chloe chased her cameraman around on set while trying to give him a hug.

Drew’s delight at SNL followed news that Zac Efron has been cast in a remake of her 1984 sci-fi/horror film Firestarter, based on the novel by Stephen King.

The actress starred in the film when she was around nine, shortly after her whirlwind success in Steven Spielberg’s E.T.
