On a field filled with the NFL’s best players, it was the three young sons of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees who stole the show.
Brothers Baylen, age nine; Bowen, age seven; and Callen Brees, age five, were pulled aside by ESPN’s Lisa Salters during the second half of Sunday’s Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida, to talk about their work as ball boys during the game.
While eldest Baylen talked about meeting some of his football heroes, and helping the NFC running backs practice during the week, his two younger brothers started to rough house behind him.
New Orleans Saints’ quarterback Drew Brees’ three sons stole the show as they gave a sideline interview at Sunday’s Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida
As eldest son Baylen, age nine, spoke to an ESPN reporter, his two younger brothers started to rough house behind him
Seven-year-old Bowen (left) and five-year-old Callen (center) continued to push and shove each other even after the reporter told them to keep their hands to themselves
At one point, Callen (in gray) wandered off onto the field during play, much to the chagrin of his father
After the interview, Brees took his youngest son aside and gave him a stern talking to about wandering out onto the field during play
Salters jokingly told the boys to keep their hands to themselves, an order that went unnoticed to the boys who continued to push and shove each other.
Youngest Callen drew the ire of their father, standing to the side, when he ran onto the field as play was happening.
‘He’s about to get in big trouble for getting on the field,’ Brees told the reporter.
The interview was cut short when Baylen ran after his brother and pushed him to the ground.
Brees was able to get his sons to sit still for at least one picture during the game
Brees was obviously very proud when his sons got picked to be ball boys for the game
In the week leading up to the game, the boys helped out with drills at practice
After the same, Brees posted this comparison shot, showing his eldest son as a toddler, after he won the Super Bowl, and Baylen on Sunday, as a nine-year-old ball boy

Brees uttered a ‘sorry’ to the reporter as he pulled his youngest away, took a knee, and gave him a stern talking to.
He then pointed up to the stands, as if to say he would sent him back to his mother if he didn’t stop acting up.
At another point in the game, Callen was seen providing more comical relief by spinning around on the ground with his father’s helmet on.
After the game Brees told reporters that it was ‘like a WWE wrestling match’ with his sons.
‘They had more chalk all over them and pellets on their face and hair. I think they hit the ground more times than everyone out there did combined all day,’ Brees laughed.
While it rained off and on throughout the game, he says his sons ‘loved every second of it’.
Unfortunately, the Brees’ boys cuteness couldn’t help their father’s team win the day. The AFC team beat the NFC team in a 24-23 victory.
Brees, who turned 39 on Monday, and his wife Brittany have another three-year-old daughter named Rylen.
