A half-naked man has been filmed covering his underpants while tied to a pole along a busy highway, with a mattress squeezed behind him.
Footage of the embarrassing moment was uploaded to Instagram with the caption: ‘Great way to end your Monday, #paybacksab*tch #karma #prank’.
It’s understood the man was tied to a pole along a main street on the Gold Coast during peak hour late morning traffic.

Viewers were quick to speculate what the man had done to deserve the cruel prank, with some speculating it could have been the result of a wild buck’s night.
Upon closer inspection of the comments, it’s been revealed the video was a result of a Gold Coast social media entertainer’s prank.
Prankster Shammi uploaded the original to his Instagram, revealing his friend Fallon had a ‘very big’night on Sunday and was still in bed at 12pm on Monday.
Shammi and a few other friends filmed themselves creeping into Fallon’s room.
Shammi climbs onto the bed and asks Fallon how he’s going, while two others are holding a latch to tie him up to the mattress.
Fallon realises what his friends are doing and begins to struggle but is held down by the three friends.

‘I’m too hungover for this sh*t,’ Fallon can be heard moaning.
He is then dragged out with the mattress to a ute and is taken to Mermaid Waters, where he is put up against a pole and left near a busy highway.
One of them says, ‘this is dangerous, this is f***ed.’
Footage shows drivers laughing and honking their horns at Fallon.
