Driver flings ticket at traffic warden after he’s caught parking on a double yellow

This is the shocking moment a driver flings his parking ticket at a traffic warden, gets into his car and then almost crashes during his get-away.

The clip shows that the motorist has received a ticket for parking his car in a cycle lane on double yellows in Manchester.

When the irate driver returns to the car he rips the parking ticket from the windscreen of his car and flings it to the ground. 

The man then gets into his car and begins to drive away before nearly smashing into another car. 

The bystander, from London, who filmed the event, told the MEN that he saw the car parked on the pavement and the traffic warden giving it a ticket.

He said: ‘As I stopped to see the dangerous and inconsiderate parking getting the ticket it deserves, a rare event in London, the driver appeared and ripped the ticket from under his windscreen wiper.

The onlooker added that the warden stood and got the information he required while remaining calm and collected.

He said that it was a busy evening it the city and the way the man had parked was obstructing the pavement which makes it unsafe for people trying to get about.

He added: ‘He’s also parked too close to a corner and drives off with his phone and takeaway in his hand.

‘He certainly didn’t incident and it’s unlikely he looked to see if anything was coming as he drove away at speed. ‘ 

One viewer commented on the clip which has been viewed 27,000 times:  ‘Hopefully he’ll be done for littering as well.’

Another added: ‘They should have their car confiscated.’
