A driver is still on the run after smashing into a car with four young children during a high-speed police chase.
A BMW slammed into a family’s Mazda on Sydney’s M5 just after 8.30pm on Thursday.
The chase started after the BMW driver failed to stop for a random breath test.

The children were shaken by the shocking accident, but no one was injured
The driver evaded police, weaving between cars on the busy motorway.
The BMW smashed into a Honda, then the Mazda with a mother and her four children inside.
‘It was a huge crash and then a different car started spinning, smoke everywhere,’ a witness told 9 News.
Police questioned a passenger in the BMW but they were later released.
The driver fled the scene on foot and is still on the run.
The children were shaken by the shocking accident, but no one was injured.
