A 13-year-old boy who was allegedly drunk has crashed a stolen car in Brisbane’s north.
The teenager was behind the wheel, with his 11-year-old brother and another friend also in the car, when it slammed into a ute about 6am Friday, 7News reports.
Residents in the area had reportedly heard screeching tyres on Thomas Street, before the vehicle spun onto nearby Charlotte Street.

The driver is said to have trues to evade authorities following the crash, which damaged the utility.
Shocked witnesses described how the driver lost control, before running off.
‘He lost complete control and he was zig-zagging as he was going down Charlotte Street,’ one witness said.
Another witness added: ‘He collected whatever he had in the back of the car, got his school bag and maybe a wallet or something and then pretty much sprinted down the road.’
Police eventually caught the teenager, with the boy alleged to have a blood alcohol reading of .176.
The driver was believed to have been on bail when he allegedly stole the car after being arrested last week.
