Dog trainer Joe Nutkins, from Colchester, joined hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle on the ITV show on Monday to showcase the skills of her pet duck Echo.
However it appeared Echo got stage fright when it came to performing her tricks on the show.
Host Craig even crawled behind the pet to encourage he duck to go through the tunnel in the assault course, while he also flicked the football into the net after Echo also failed to complete this trick.
Fans flooded to Twitter as they were confused by the segment, with one person labelling Echo ‘the world’s most useless duck’.

Earlier in the show Joe revealed that she realised Echo’s talent when she was demonstrating tricks with her dogs and the duck decided to join in too.
Joe said: ‘I have been a dog trainer for 17 years coming up to 18 years now.
‘[Echo] simply was going to be a pet, she was one of six pet ducks but she was the only one who hatched so she was on her own, so she was a house duck originally.
‘I have got terriers and I was doing a lot of online dog training and she was watching what they were doing and one day they all did a circle and she did a circle and I thought it was a fluke.
However some people were impressed with Echo’s skills labelling the duck ‘a legend’ and others enjoyed the segment
‘So I tried it again and she did it again, then I tried some basic tricks with her which she did and she seemed to really enjoy it.
‘Then every time I wanted to train with the dogs she would be there wanting to do stuff as well, so we just kept going and every time I teach her to do more tricks she just picks it up and just does it.
She continued: ‘She can comfortably do 30 tricks and there are a few other which she has recently picked up.’
