Dukes Of Hazzard star John Schneider reveals his wife Alicia has died aged 53 in heartfelt tribute 

Dukes Of Hazzard star John Schneider has revealed his wife Alicia Allain has died at the age of 53.

In an obituary published online by Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine, Louisiana, it said that she died ‘at her home surrounded by her family as she took her last breath on Tuesday, February 21, 2023′.

She had battled cancer for several years after being diagnosed in 2019, however a cause of death has not been released. 

Schneider, 62, paid tribute to Alicia, who he married in 2019, in a heartfelt statement he shared on Facebook, writing: ‘My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus.’

John, who often referred to his wife as ‘Smile’, added: ‘Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.’ 

He also shared a photo of the couple together on his Twitter account and wrote: ‘My center. My everything. My smile.’

Allain was born in 1969 in Louisiana, and starred in films including Leather Jackets, Caged Fear, The Badge and Half Lives. 

Following her film career, Allain went on to create her own entertainment company, Maven Entertainment. 

The couple produced several small-budget films before transitioning into music producing, creating over 100 songs together in recent years. 

Following her 2019 diagnosis, Allain had been open with her battle against cancer, telling Fox and Friends in 2020 that she had been given just a few years to live. 

‘This past Memorial Day I was diagnosed with stage 4 HER2 negative cancer,’ she said.

‘She was three years into a five-year shelf life,’ Schneider added.   

Speaking about he recovery, Allain said: ‘I went into like a speed course of reading what path I was going to take.

‘I decided to do keto for cancer, CBD oil and then ground myself in minerals. I got into a really rigid regime.’ 

Allain was Schneider’s third wife, and the couple began dating in 2015 before getting married in 2019 at the barn on their property. 

Prior to her marriage to Schneider, she was married to producer and actor Patrick Dollard from 1994 to 1999. 

According to The Advocate, Alicia, who also served as John’s manager, is survived by a daughter and other relatives.

Schneider shot to fame after landing the role of Bo Duke in The Dukes Of Hazzard at the age of 18, starring on the show from 1979 to 1985. 

He later went on to appear in shows including Nip/Tuck, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and 90210.

The 62-year-old’s former Dukes Of Hazzard co-star Tom Wopat also paid tribute to Allain, taking to Facebook to send his well wishes to his friend.

He wrote: ‘My thoughts and prayers are with him, along with the thoughts and prayers of the entire Dukes nation. Alicia was a force in his life and his career, and she will be missed.

‘I didn’t get any details, but I don’t need any to be aware of the pain and loss that John’s dealing with.’
