A sea of orange has given a vibrant burst of colour to the northern German territory with brilliant images showing the true extent of Dutch support.

The journey from Holland to Germany is a short one across the border and supporters are clearly keen to make their impact seen and heard, even with the national team included in a difficult group alongside Poland, France and Austria.

A heavy police presence is present in Hamburg to deter any signs of trouble but there has been no trouble with both Holland and Poland fans in high spirits.

One video posted on Sunday morning shows a wide-spanning road packed deep over 100metres with fans decked out in orange shirts, waving Holland flags and jumping from side to side.

The amazing moment showcases the best side of football fans and a catchy tune see’s people jump from side to side while chanting ‘Holland’ at various intervals.

Meanwhile, Dutch supporters inside the fanzone were treated to techno music that encouraged the thousands in attendance to jump around in a bid to keep energy levels high.

Supporters of rival nations applauded the scenes, with one post on X justly calling the demonstration as a ‘movement’.

Another post similarly complimented Holland, adding: ‘Such an amazing enthusiast and electrifying atmosphere is really stunning I love it.’

A translated post hilariously commented on how the Dutch were making so much noise, adding: ‘The Dutch are a bit crazy,’ alongside three laughing emojis.

Holland will get their Euro 2024 campaign underway at 2pm with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk also skippering the national team.
