The moment the law entered into effect; Dutch operators can apply for a Dutch Remote Gambling License. Now players are able to relish the offering. Opening up the market means new opportunities for Dutch operators to:

In order to apply for a permit, operators will have to support procedure costs of around € 48.000 while parties will be required to offer a lot of information to the authorities so that the latter can decide if a permit will be granted or not. Therefore, they will be asked to provide:
- Proof of financial stability
- Anti-Money Laundering Policy
- Compliance with the Dutch Financial Supervision Act
- Internal supervision as to what measures have been taken and to what extent are they operating
- Approval of the gambling system
- What will be done to prevent gambling addiction
The new acts expect that out of 40 new Dutch casino operators that have filled their requests. These companies now have an edge compared to those that have to wait until 2022.
