Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson reveals adorable Christmas tradition he shares with his daughters

Dwayne Johnson has an adorable Christmas tradition with his two youngest daughters Jasmine, eight, and Tiana, six.

The Moana actor, 52, is currently starring in the Christmas movie Red One and talked about how he and his daughters like to ‘get ready for Santa.’

The actor — who also has an older daughter, 23-year-old Simone — said the best part of the Christmas holiday is ‘just getting the family together,’ he told People.

‘We got little ones at home. Santa’s coming. That’s exciting,’ he added, noting that it is hard to get his younger daughters to go to bed on Christmas Eve, so he and his wife Lauren Hashian let them stay up late.

‘It’s tough to try and force them to bed when they can’t, like, all right, let’s stay up,’ he said.

‘We’ll watch a Christmas movie and then they’ll pass out and then we will all get ready for Santa,’ Johnson explained. ‘And that’s the exciting part, man. So fun.’

Before Jasmine and Tiana head to bed they have an important task to complete, leaving cookies and milk out for Santa and treats for his reindeer.

‘What we’ll do is we’ll leave out the cookies that they made and their notes and you also got to leave out the oats and the carrots and things like that for all the reindeer as they coming,’ the Jumanji star said.

Earlier this week, the Red Notice actor gushed about getting Jasmine and Tiana cameo roles in Moana 2.

He took them to the premiere of the film and delighted in their reaction when they saw their animated characters on screen for the first time.

‘They loved it,’ he told E News! ‘Loved, loved it. They hadn’t seen it before. They knew they were in it, and they were sitting on the edge of their seats, literally, and just waiting.’

‘Their scene came up, and they’re just like, “That’s me!”‘ he recalled. ‘It was so cool  That’s the good stuff of fame,’ he added, joking, ‘And nepotism.’

The proud dad also revealed the cute Beyoncé-inspired nickname he has for Tiana.

‘Tia, our littlest one, I call her T-yonce’, the Kids Choice Award winner told Entertainment Tonight, shimmying his shoulders as he explained ‘she comes struttin’ over.’

Moana is a passion project of sorts for The Rock, considering he has Samoan citizenship due to his mother being Samoan, according to IMDb.

‘This story is my culture, and this story is emblematic of our people’s grace and warrior strength. I wear this culture proudly on my skin and in my soul,’ he said of Moana.

‘There is no better world for us to honor the story of our people, our passion and our purpose than through the realm of music and dance, which is at the core of who we are as Polynesian people.’

The Rock also shares daughter Simone with his first wife Dany Garcia.

Simone followed her father into the wrestling world and performs under the stage name Ava Raine.
