Former NBA star Dwight Howard has left fans in stitches after bizarrely calling on YouTuber Kai Cenat to join him for an overseas version of the All-Star celebrity game.

Cenat, who was recently crowned Streamer of the Year for the third time in a row, was one of the celebrities involved in the NBA’s annual celebrity game on Friday night, with the 22-year-old seen arriving alongside Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.

The online personality was on the winning team on the night and even came close to tears during the trophy presentation, despite seeing limited minutes and only scoring four points.

However, he clearly did enough to win over Howard, who sent him a bizarre request over the weekend while clearly missing being a part of NBA All-Star weekend.

The ex-Orlando Magic and LA Lakers center, who recently joined non-league Philippine-based team Strong Group, posted a video of himself on a speedboat shouting ‘come on’ along with the caption: ‘Aye Kai let’s do our own celebrity game overseas!

‘First stop Taiwan – second stop Philippines’.

Howard departed the NBA back in 2022 to move to Taiwan, signing with the Taoyuan Leopards after his third stint with the Lakers came to an end.

After becoming a free agent again he then joined Strong Group for the Dubai International Basketball Championship last month.

The 38-year-old, a one-time NBA champion and eight-time All-Star, is currently facing allegations of sexual assault and battery following an incident which took place at his Georgia home in 2021.

The former Magic center is being sued in his home state by a man named Stephen Harper, who claims he was sexually assaulted in July of 2021.

Back in October he denied sexually assaulting Harper and instead claimed through his attorney that the two had a consensual encounter.

And two months later Howard accused Harper of deleting and even doctoring crucial text messages while calling for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
