Dylan Alcott, Chantelle Otten: Couple have ‘sexy ramps’ installed in their home

Sexologist Chantelle Otten reveals she has ‘sexy ramps’ installed in the home she shares with Paralympian boyfriend Dylan Alcott

High-profile sexologist Chantelle Otten has made sure the home she shares with her Paralympian boyfriend Dylan Alcott is completely wheelchair accessible.

She revealed on Instagram on Wednesday she’d installed ramps for Dylan to use, and described their sleek black design as ‘sexy’.

Chantelle didn’t draw attention to them at first, and instead simply shared a selfie in which the ramps were visible in the background.

But once fans started commenting, she decided to explain why they were there.

‘We do have a sexy ramp in our house; it was made for Dyl,’ she wrote.

Last week, Chantelle spoke candidly about consummating her relationship with the wheelchair tennis player, who triumphed at this year’s Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

‘I think we were both pretty nervous to be honest… But we had a lot of practice and it worked out well,’ she told News.com.au.

Chantelle went on to say she was offended by people who stop the couple in the street to call her ‘brave’ for being in a relationship with someone with a disability.

‘I just think that people coming up and saying that to me while my beautiful boyfriend is sitting next to me in his chair. It just breaks my heart,’ she said.

‘I think that it’s very scary for some people to view those with a disability as an erotic being, because it is too challenging for them to think outside the box.’

Earlier this year, Dylan revealed he and Chantelle have a very fulfilling sex life in an interview with Good Weekend magazine.

‘My partner Chantelle is a sexologist – a doctor of sex – so I’ve definitely lucked out in that department,’ the 30-year-old athlete said.

He also discussed the first time they had sex and admitted he was very nervous.

‘I thought, “You’re doing it with the best!” But we’re both sex-positive. It’s important to me to talk about it,’ he said.

Dylan also revealed the one thing he wished he’d known about sex when he was younger.

He said that growing up there was no information online about sex for people with disabilities, and that watching pornography only added to his insecurities.

‘But one thing I’ve learnt is that people can have sex in any way. And obviously, I must be doing something right if I’ve managed to lock down someone like Chantelle,’ he said.

The couple made their public debut at a tennis event in April 2019, after meeting at a book signing earlier that year.
