E-fit of ‘rapist’ is dead ringer for Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb

A suspect pictured in a bizarre e-fit released by police has been likened to Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb.

The computer generated image was issued by Kent Police of a man who attacked a woman in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The man, who had a dog with him, knocked the woman to the ground and raped her before running off.

Cops say the attacker has wavy hair and stubble on his chin, and locals reckon he bears an ‘uncanny likeness’ to the famous singer in his 70s prime.

Julian Evans, of Tunbridge Wells, said: ‘As soon as I saw the e-fit I just thought it was Barry Gibb when he was in his prime – he should be easy to track down.’

Kent Police also said the attacker, who struck on June 7, was white, of slim build, with dark wavy hair and stubble. He spoke English and a foreign language, and was smoking a cigarette.

He also had a Golden Retriever, or similar breed dog with him.

The e-fit is the latest in a number of bizarre e-fit images released by police.

Last month Kent Police issued an e-fit of a man who looked like Kenny from animated show South Park.

In May last year Sussex Police became a laughing stock after releasing an image of man residents said looked like a member of the Village People.

And in June 2017, police in Essex released an image that was likened to a Some Mothers Do Ave Em character Frank Spencer.
