An earthquake measuring 6.3 has struck off the eastern coast of Japan.
The quake struck 180 miles east of Iwaki, Honshu, at a depth of 77.8 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
It comes just two weeks after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan near Fukushima.
The depth of the earthquake, which struck at 2.37am local time, was measured at 10km.
