Earthquake rocks Victoria with evening tremor rattling hundreds of residents

Thousands of Aussies have been rocked by yet another earthquake.

The magnitude three earthquake hit Victoria’s Gippsland region shortly before 8pm on Monday night

The epicentre at Sandy Point near Wilsons Promontory and was likely felt in Foster, Inverloch and Leongatha.

Geoscience Australia recorded 70 reports of the earthquake in less than hour.

It comes three weeks after 4.1 magnitude quake rattled Victoria’s high country on August 7.

The earthquake’s epicentre was at Sandy Point near Wilson’s Promontory National Park (above)
