He was shot down by his other half Callum Highway after he failed to woo his other half following an unromantic proposal during a recent episode of EastEnders.
Yet new pictures reveal that Ben Mitchell [Max Bowden] is set to have another attempt asking Callum [Tony Clay] to be his husband during Thursday’s instalment.
A first look at the episode shows Ben brandishing a huge bouquet of roses in his arms, which appear to be apart of his plan for a more romantic proposal.

Ben has a huge hopeful smile of his face in the image, however another snap shows Callum sat alone at the side of the phone while on the phone.
It is yet to be revealed how the proposal will go, after Callum made his doubts known following Ben’s first attempt at popping the question.
At first, Ben asked Callum whether they should marry so that his other half would be able to pick his daughter Lexi up from school without issue.

When the couple were told Callum was banned from picking her up at the school gate because he ‘wasn’t family’, Ben queried whether they should head to the local registry office to make it official.
Ben’s lacklustre marriage offer left Callum feeling unloved and Ben came to realise he had a lot of making up to in order to make it up to him.
The couple have faced a year of trials and tribulations however hopefully Ben will be able to smooth it over with his romantic gesture.
During Wednesday’s episode of The One show, the two actors discussed how they might propose to their real life girlfriends in the future.
When quizzed about any potential wedding bells, Tony said: ‘I have to be careful. She’s lurking. I’d like to think I’m a bit of a romantic, but somewhere we both love, and when the time’s right. We’ll definitely cross that path when it comes to it!’
Meanwhile, Max joked that he’s thinking about the popping the question to his girlfriend ‘every day’.
‘Of course you do [think about it],’ he laughed. ‘If you’re with someone, you have to see your future with them and I absolutely do. Who knows… one day!’
