Amy Branning has been struggling to cope after finding out her step-mum Denise Fox has had a steamy affair with Ravi Gulati.
The pair enjoyed a brief fling at a hotel before Denise decided to remain loyal to her husband Jack Branning, but in upcoming episodes the truth could be revealed.
As 14-year-old Amy (Ellie Dadd) secretly turns to the bottle in a bid to deal with the news, she pulls a sickie and Denise (Diane Parish) is forced to look after her.
During the episode, set to air on Monday, a tipsy Amy acts out to Denise, which prompts Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) to suggest that she has been drinking.
Denise discovers the evidence and a furious row ensues as Amy reveals she knows about Denise and Ravi’s affair – will the truth be revealed?

Speaking about the upcoming scenes, actress Diane explained: ‘She [Denise] knows that something is up with Amy. There’s a ticking time bomb inside Denise from the moment where she and Ravi hear the tray fall in Walford East.
‘She has a feeling it’s all going to come out so any little reaction from anybody she’s like “what? What does that mean? What do you know?”.
‘She’s on tenterhooks constantly just wondering when her life is going to blow up and completely fall apart. As a result of this, she’s not thinking rationally but she’s trying to function and normalise life just in case there’s some hope that she can pull everything back together.
‘The one thing she cannot control is what is happening to Amy – she’s spiralling and Denise knows why. That is the most awful thing for her to carry.’
She continued: ‘This family has got deep rooted problems that we finally need to put out onto the table because the children are falling apart as a result of the family not facing their issues.
‘Denise has to put her big girl knickers on and tell him what’s been going on so that they can all face the music together, whatever that music is.’
Speaking about what will happen when the truth finally comes out, Diane added: ‘For Jack, all the bricks in that house just fall away and he cannot believe that the woman that represented that for him, who he kept calling his rock, actually wasn’t that at all. There is a look that he gave me in one of the scenes and it just broke my heart.
‘All this stress has been building up in this man, so he’s so vulnerable when he finds out about Denise and Ravi. An absolutely stonking performance from Scott (Maslen) coming up!’

Last week, Kim Fox left herself and Denzel Danes in serious danger as she crashed her new car after a night of celebrations takes a shocking turn.
During Monday’s episode of EastEnders, Kim received a brand new car after being crowned ‘Influencer Of The Moment’ at an awards show.
However, Kim (Tameka Empson) and Howie (Delroy Atkinson) were left fuming when they discovered Denzel (Jaden Ladega) hosted a wild house party.
But, still overjoyed by her win, Kim offers to take Denzel for a spin in her car, but the ride doesn’t go to plan, leading to a shocking crash.
The pair jumped into the yellow Beetle, where Kim discovered sister Denise’s phone while waiting for traffic to clear.
As messages began to pop up, it became clear to Kim that Denise, who is married to Jack, had been hiding an affair with Ravi.
The messages read: ‘So you unblock me now! You don’t get to talk to me like that. You’re the married one. You’re the cheat’

With texts from Ravi still coming through, Kim got distracted and was forced to swerve as Denzel screamed that there was a pedestrian.
Following the crash, a shaken Kim wakes up to find an unconscious Denzel on the seat next to her.
Mitch (Roger Griffiths) spots the crash and quickly calls an ambulance, and with the help of the emergency services, Kim gets free but Denzel is trapped inside.
Later Kim is joined at the hospital by Denise (Diane Parrish) who tries to comfort her, but she snaps as she reveals the reason why she accidentally crashed.
