EastEnders SPOILER: Stacey Slater is thrilled as Jack Branning gives her a secret Valentine’s present as their affair continues

It seems love is in the air for Valentine’s Day on Albert Square as Stacey Slater and Jack Branning affair continues on the patron saint’s day of love. 

After the two ended up in bed together at the end of January, the pair’s steamy affair has continued despite frustration from fans. 

And in Wednesday’s episode Stacey (Lacey Turner) appears thrilled as Jack (Scott Maslen) gives her a secret Valentine’s present. 

Pictured together outside Stacey’s food van, Stacey’s Baps, Jack handed her a small gift bag, which she opened to reveal some silver jewellery. 

However her happiness doesn’t last as Stacey is then filled with guilt as she sees Amy, who is playing matchmaker between her dad and Denise, has spotted her holding the gift.

While Jack and Stacey have embarked on a steamy affair, Denise is struggling to deal with the events of Christmas.  

She has been struggling to cope over the threat that Nish will go to the police and reveal who was behind Keanu’s death. 

Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was killed after he was stabbed by Linda Carter in a messy fight at the Queen Vic which also saw Diane attack Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) in a bid to defend his wife Suki. 

And fans are furious at Jack’s behaviour, with recent tweets revealing they cannot wait for the couple to be found out. 

One wrote: ‘Once Jack & Stacey ‘s affair is revealed, I feel Amy is gonna hate Jack the most out of everyone cos she see’s Denise is struggling & has been there for her while Jack has been off getting on Stacey’.

A second commented: ‘Jack & Stacey in bed together while Denise is on her own So Evil!’

Another penned: ‘All hell come down on Jack & Stacey at this point. Stacey is so selfish – playing away with Jack when she knows that Denise is suffering mentally. As for Jack he should know better.’

Fans were left in uproar last month after Jack  ended up in bed with Stacey as the two embarked on their steamy affair.

After Stacey and Jack’s first kiss aired last month, actor Scott hinted it was far from a steamy one-off for Jack and Stacey.

He said: ‘There’s genuinely got to be some feelings there because you don’t do things like that without their being feelings.

‘All roads point towards this as well, so there’s been a lot of tension, a lot of stress, a lot of contributing factors that have led to this point and miscommunications. Reading between the lines and thinking something is something when it isn’t, and it gets to the point where the you-know-what hits the fan. 

‘Is it expected? Is it something that was going to happen in Jack’s eyes? Definitely not, but that’s EastEnders.’
