1. Peter confronts Cindy
Peter is irked to discover that Cindy has promoted Bobby to manager at Beale’s Eels and not him. Annoyed, he’s given food for thought when Lauren reckons that there must be another reason Cindy did this, as she wouldn’t do Bobby a favour without a motive.
2. Freddie hears a secret
Bobby tries to apologise for taking Anna for granted but she’s still cross that Gina interfered in her relationship. Later, the Knight girls argue over the situation and Gina accuses Anna of being in love with Freddie. However, little do the girls know that Freddie has overheard every word.
3. Junior makes an offer
Peter wrongly assumes Bobby’s promotion is all down to their family dramas, little knowing that Cindy did it in a panic to cover for one of her liaisons with Junior. When Junior overhears Peter speculating with Lauren and Gina about Cindy, he offers Peter a job on his new contract to keep him out of their way.
4.Linda’s life is in danger
After Linda has been up drinking all night, Johnny is at a loss about how to help her. Gina tells Johnny that she’ll look after Linda. However, when Johnny returns, matters between him and Linda soon descend into a massive row. Later, Johnny calms down and seeks out his mum but is horrified to find Linda in a life-threatening situation.
5. Cindy and Junior clash
Cindy is incensed to discover that Peter is going to work for Junior and offers to give Peter the manager’s job at Beale’s Eels and demote Bobby. When that doesn’t work, she tries to charm Junior into not hiring Peter, but Junior stands firm. When Lauren quizzes Cindy on why she’s so determined to stop Peter working with Junior, Cindy struggles to cover her tracks and tells a lie to discredit Junior.
6. Johnny seeks comfort in Callum
At the Vic, paramedics arrive and rush Linda to hospital. As a devastated Johnny waits for news, he blames Gina for Linda’s plight and orders her to move out of the Vic. Later, Callum provides Johnny with a shoulder to cry on, but Johnny misinterprets his kindness and moves in for a kiss.
7. Cindy and Junior caught out?
Junior tempts Cindy with a late-night glass of wine at his place. She gets all glammed up and makes her excuses to head over there. However, Junior panics when Gina arrives at his door and asks to move in. Things are awkward when he’s forced to reject his sister, leaving her upset.
8. Freddie hides his love
After realising Anna’s true feelings, Freddie does his best to put some distance between the two of them out of loyalty to Bobby. However, with Freddie feeling the same way – and them both living on the Square – can Anna and Freddie continue to deny what’s going on?
9. Reiss is hit for six
As his suspicions of Reiss steadily increase, Phil decides to take action. Summoning Reiss to the Boxing Den, Phil puts the frighteners on him and demands the money he invested back by next week or else. As Reiss cowers in the ring, he’s more desperate than ever to get his hands on some cash.
