Prince William will long be remembered for his early good looks – that touch of Diana in the bashful looks and smouldering stare.

Today, William is 41 and a father of three. Yet there is no shortage of adoring fans – as he found last week on a visit to Cardiff.

In fact, the Prince of Wales, accompanied by his wife, Catherine, was mobbed by well-wishers – and cheekily told them: ‘I draw the line at kissing!’

Later, the room erupted when the prince joked: ‘Who is pinching my bottom?

In fact, thanks partly to his growing action man persona, William is becoming quite the hunk, a view supported both here and in America, where the Prince made a recent appearance to promote his Earthshot Prize.

He might have considerably less hair than in his youth, but royal fans still claim they were left feeling hot under the collar by recent snaps.

One wrote: ‘Absolutely gorgeous, as ever our Prince William is Hot Hot Hot!’

While another commented: He has such an aura of quiet authority & self assuredness about him. I think that’s why William always draws people in.’

A third thought the Prince of Wales ought to be in the running for the next 007 franchise.

Here, we take a look at the Prince of Wales today – and the Prince of twenty years ago. (And we think he’s doing pretty well…)
