Shaquille O’Neal’s bullish bet has backfired spectacularly after the College Football Playoff Final Monday night.

O’Neal was confident earlier in the week that 14-point underdogs TCU would beat Georgia in the championship, and made a wager with his TNT colleague and Georgia alum Ernie Johnson.

‘If Georgia beats TCU I will eat some frogs. I’ll eat a horned frog,’ he said with a deadpan expression, referencing TCU’s mascot.

‘I’d love to see it,’ Johnson said.

The ‘Inside the NBA’ host will get his wish if O’Neal is a man of his word, as Georgia easily beat TCU 65-7 on Monday at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.

And Shaq’s own employer made sure to rub his nose in the ill-fated prediction.
