Chocolate lovers are hoping to make a sweet profit by cashing in on the limited-edited block of Cadbury Caramilk on eBay.

And one savvy investor, from Victoria, has attempted to turn the rare chocolate into a lucrative business after listing the rare treat for a ridiculous four-figure sum.

The 190-gram block of the popular discontinued variety is now for sale for $1,000 – 200 times the original retail price of $5.

‘1 x Cadbury Caramilk Special Edition Golden Chocolate Block Of Goodness – LIMITED AND RARE sold out almost everywhere. No longer produced,’ the seller said.

‘Please note: this block is one of a kind. There may be many Cadbury Caramilks out there but ONLY one exactly like this.’

The seller, from Shepparton, also confirmed their chocolate was not part of the manufacture recall – after small pieces of plastic were found in the blocks last month.

‘Safe & NOT part of the manufacture recall as Best Before date is 24/01/2019 so enjoy,’ the seller, who is also offering free postage, added.

The highly sought after Caramilk left supermarket shelves as quickly as they were stacked in February, leaving people with a sweet tooth missing out on the treat.
