Ed was last in Australia for Michael Gudinski’s state funeral in Melbourne, where he performed with Kylie Minogue.

In addition to the hoped-for show at the MCG, the Shape of You hitmaker said he has not one, but two albums being released in the next 18 months.

Visiting Hours, the song he performed at Gudinski’s memorial, will be on one of the albums, he confirmed.

‘I actually got Jimmy Barnes and Kylie [Minogue[ to sing backing vocals on it,’ he said.

Back in March, Kylie and Ed teamed up to deliver a touching performance as they joined a slew of stars for Gudinski’s state funeral at Rod Laver Arena.

During the memorial, Ed broke down in tears as he remembered his close friendship with the Mushroom Records founder.
