Ed Sheeran performed his brand new single Bad Habits at the TikTok UEFA EURO 2020 Show on Friday night live from Ipswich.
Taking to the stage in a black T-shirt teamed with matching trousers and high-top trainers, the hit-maker, 30, dedicated another of his tracks, Visiting Hours, to his late friend, music mogul Michael Gudinski, who died unexpectedly on March 1 at the age of 68.
It comes after Ed revealed on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music podcast this week that he would ‘drink ten pints a night and party until 6am’ before welcoming daughter Lyra with his wife Cherry Seaborn last year.

Speaking of how fatherhood changed him, Ed told radio host Zane, 47: ‘My lifestyle completely shifted.’
He added: ‘Instead of going to bed at 6am, I’m getting up at 6am and well, earlier than that.
‘I used to do everything to excess, like real excess. I would go to a restaurant and be like, ”Oh, I like the look of that, and that, and I’ll just eat all of that”.
‘I loved drinking everything in sight and all the other stuff.’

Explaining that he overhauled his lifestyle once Cherry was sixth months pregnant, the Shape Of You singer went on: ‘I found when Cherry was six months pregnant, I was like, right at this point, waters might break anytime and I’m just going to stop excess and just be available and be the husband that I’m meant to be.’
Speaking about the changes he’s made, Ed added: ‘I still have beer, but I won’t have ten pints. I’ll have like three, and I still have burgers, but I won’t have two, I’ll have one.’
Getting into it: Ed put on a typically lively performance and was seen beating his guitar and putting on an animated display

He added: ‘I know what they went through and I’m still going through it… I’m learning day by day. I think it’s amazing.’

‘I got in touch, and we had like a three-hour chat and he is the sweetest guy.
‘He was telling me about how he navigated being a father, like where his kids went to school and how they did tours and stuff.’

Ed had paid tribute to Michael in a lengthy Instagram post on March 5, and described the late Mushroom Group boss as a ‘father figure and a mentor’.
He said Michael was a ‘tornado of joy’ and that it was ‘hard to put into words’ the impact the promoter had on him.
‘Michael was a tornado of joy. You would know he arrived in the building just by hearing the chaotic bark of his, and you could feel the room get excited about the arrival of his presence,’ he said.
