Eddie Hearn took part in a hilarious video to promote Anthony Joshua’s heavyweight bout against Jermaine Franklin at the O2 Arena on Saturday evening.
AJ will return to the ring on Saturday after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for a second time in August 2022 – having previously lost his WBA, WBO and IBF belts to the Ukrainian in September 2021.
There is a tremendous amount of pressure on Joshua heading into the fight – with many claiming the 33-year-old should retire from professional boxing if he falls short against the American.
Therefore, AJ is eager to make a statement by knocking Franklin out at the O2 Arena – having not won a fight since his TKO victory over Kubrat Pulev back in September 2020.
Hearn – who is beyond excited for AJ’s return to the ring – took part in a hilarious DAZN video to help promote the fight and advise fans on where to go to watch the heavyweight clash.

Hearn’s comment about Fury was referencing the Gypsy King’s inability to agree terms with Joshua for a Battle of Britain clash. His comment about Simon Jordan came after the pair sat down on TalkSPORT for an explosive interview. His final jab was at Roman Kemp – who he hilariously destroyed on Capital FM’s ‘roast segment’.
In the DAZN clip, Hearn went on to mimick a whining fan by saying: ‘Oh but Eddie, I want to watch it on my Sky box’. He went on to say: ‘Not to worry, go to channel 429 on your Sky Box and just follow the instructions.’
The video continue with Hearn saying: ‘Eddie, Eddie, what about me? I’m on Virgin Media.’ He paused before looking at the camera and saying: ‘You didn’t think we forgot that one did you? This fight and future fights are available on your Virgin box.’

Hearn then picked up a mug of tea, took and sip and winked into the camera before hilariously saying: ‘That was a bit f***ing cheesy weren’t it’.
The film crew in the room burst into laughter alongside the Matchroom promoter and the vide ended there.
DAZN 1 HD will show round the clock content – both live and catch-up programmes – from its launch on March 23, including action from the likes of Joshua, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, Katie Taylor and Ryan Garcia.
