Rumours have been swirling over the past few weeks that stand- up comedian and Hollywood star Jack Whitehall’s relationship with his model girlfriend, Roxy Horner, has hit the rocks.
And now the couple tell me they’ve had to take drastic measures to keep their romance alive.
Horner, 30, who once courted Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio, reveals she had to miss London Fashion Week for the first time in 15 years so she could spend time with Whitehall, a close friend of Princess Eugenie.
‘It was a bit difficult,’ the model admits of missing the highlight of the fashion world’s calendar.
‘I got FOMO [Fear Of Missing Out].’

Speaking at a cocktail party in London’s Fitzrovia, Whitehall, 32, tells me they took a romantic holiday in Corfu to reunite after he spent six weeks shooting his latest film in America, where his girlfriend was not allowed to join him due to Covid travel restrictions.
‘I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her,’ says Whitehall, who started his stand-up career at the Edinburgh fringe.
‘The closest thing for me would be missing Edinburgh Festival, which isn’t as glamorous, but it would be very difficult to miss.’
The actor, who starred in Disney blockbuster Jungle Cruise, adds that he needed some tender loving care from Horner, as he was badly sunburned after his latest film shoot in the U.S. desert for action movie Robots.
‘I got sunburned every day,’ he wails. ‘But I was also wearing a helmet for the role, and it was so hot I had people putting fans up there.
‘I suffer for my art.’
When Jack was courting Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan, his theatrical agent father, Michael Whitehall, declared: ‘Jack, a girlfriend? No! Really?’
Hopefully Roxy’s sacrifice will mean that this relationship proves more successful than his last.
Given Prince Andrew’s deepening woes, his mother could be forgiven for seeking a stiff drink.
Well, now the Queen has something to celebrate – I hear her recently released Balmoral gin is up for a prize.
Ballochbuie Gin has made the finals of the Scottish Gin Awards 2021.
And the £60 tipple will prove a tonic for the monarch in helping to pay the £3 million-a-year running costs of her Scottish estate, which suffered – like most visitor attractions – in the pandemic.
As Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, bonds with their newly born daughter, his glamorous former fiancee has been trying to show that she’s a model mum.

Wearing a Burberry trench coat, she explains: ‘Had a fun day shooting my favourite brand — just in case you wanted to know what architects wear.’
Well-connected author Philip Womack — who’s married to a princess, Tatiana von Preussen, a scion of the Royal House of Prussia — has learned the perils of social media.
At his book launch party, where guests included Children’s Laureate Cressida Cowell and biographer Selina Hastings, Womack revealed that he’d tried to promote Wildlord, his new novel for teenagers, using the hashtag #Wildlord.
‘I soon discovered that the hashtag was already in use, for romance novels in which misbehaving members of the aristocracy are tamed by kindly, willing serving girls,’ Womack tells me.
‘Fortunately there aren’t any of those in the book, which is about a teenage boy visiting his uncle’s farm in Suffolk.’
If children’s books don’t work out, Philip, there’s always Mills & Boon…
How about this for a spot of multi-tasking?

Emma, 35, who is the Marchioness of Bath, caught Gual’s attention because she is both a ‘perfect example of a strong woman’ and an ‘inspirational female’, the artist gushes.
Twinkle-toed Lady Bath – whose husband, Ceawlin Thynn, runs Longleat estate and safari park in Wiltshire – was delighted she didn’t have to sit still all night for the portrait, and was free to walk around quaffing champagne.
‘I’ve never done anything like this before,’ Emma tells me. ‘I’m really honoured.’
Financier Ben Goldsmith is likely to be persona non grata at London’s last remaining polo ground, where Princes William and Harry, and former supermodel Elle ‘the Body’ Macpherson, have all played chukkas.
Earlier this year, the son of late billionaire Sir James Goldsmith, who’s a government adviser on the environment, branded Ham Polo Club ‘gross’ for digging up its plastic exercise track and leaving the polluting material heaped up on the soil.
The club said the resulting mound — covered in grass — would be used to allow spectators better viewing of polo matches.
But now it’s been ordered to remove the eyesore by the Environment Agency.
I wonder if Ben’s brother, the Environment Minister Lord (Zac) Goldsmith, had a word?
Celebrities across London suffered a washout last month as torrential floods hit some of the capital’s most expensive postcodes — and Call The Midwife star Helen George thinks she has found the culprits.
The 37-year-old, who is expecting a baby in December, tells me her neighbours who have concreted over their patios and gardens have left her home vulnerable to flooding, as the water has no place to go.
The BBC star has said those who concrete and astroturf their outdoor spaces ‘need to be more responsible’.

She says at Chelsea Flower Show: ‘I’m in East London and it’s a concrete jungle. We are intending to dig up our front garden, which is concreted over, to protect us from the floods. We need to all do our bit by gardening.’
Sir Ringo Starr didn’t envy his late, great fellow drummer Charlie Watts.
‘He had a harder band to keep together than I did,’ the former Beatle says of the late Rolling Stone.
And that wasn’t the only thing he had trouble keeping from falling apart.
Starr, 81, recalled that the earth moved when Watts and the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham attended a party at his house in the 1970s.
‘I had a drum kit in the attic. We had three drummers just hanging out and John got on the kit.’
Sadly, Sir Ringo’s gear was not up to Bonham’s famously thunderous kit-bashing.
‘It wasn’t nailed down, so, as he’s playing, the bass drum kept hopping away from him. So you had Ringo and Charlie Watts both holding the bass drum for him as John played. That would have made a great TikTok video.’
Sadly there is no photographic evidence.
‘I had parties in the 1970s, but I never took any photos,’ Sir Ringo says.
Probably for the best.
