Former Manchester United captain Ferdinand got the Chelsea men to play a game where they had to guess their new ratings after being shown their FIFA 17 scores.
Luiz, who was in a typically jovial mood, also commentated on Hazard’s reluctance to track back, claiming he has given up telling the Belgian to defend.
‘I have known him a long time so I don’t lose my energy screaming,’ said Luiz.
Brazilian defender Luiz, whose overall 86 makes him the equal-47th best player on the game, was unhappy with his own rating for shooting.
Luiz was alarmed to discover than midfielder N’Golo Kante’s 66/100 shot rating is two points above his own.
The three players were given their FIFA 17 ratings and then told to guess their FIFA 18 scores
Luiz modestly predicted that would be on 85/100 overall but the Brazilian ace is actually on 86
Hazard and Luiz shared a laugh about the Belgian playmaker’s defensive attributes
‘No,’ argued Luiz. ‘This is impossible. Come to training and watch.
‘My left foot is better than N’Golo with the right.’
Kante’s overall rating of 87 is the same as Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Hazard is the joint-best player in the Premier League, alongside United goalkeeper David de Gea, according to FIFA 18.
After Hazard and De Gea, the Premier League’s top boys are Alexis Sanchez, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Thibaut Courtois who all score 89.
‘I don’t play defence’, insisted Hazard, who gave himself 5/100, 27 less than his new FIFA figure
Luiz disagreed with his own shooting score, which is lower than team-mate N’Golo Kante’s
