Eight police officers have been injured after confronting a passenger who had not paid for her bus fare in Dalston, East London.
It comes after a passenger on board the bus was found not to have a valid ticket by officers supporting TfL inspectors.
A number of the officers sustained facial injures, including cuts and bruises. Two other officers were taken to hospital with concussion.
Two teenage girls and an 18-year-old man were arrested over the incident on Kingsland High Street.
A 15-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assaultiing on a police officer and fare evasion.
The man and a 16-year-old girl were held on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
The officers taken to hospital have since been discharged.
