Eight teenagers have been arrested after a stolen car crashed in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police spotted a Honda, that had been reported stolen on Friday, driving north on the Kwinana Freeway about 12.50am on Sunday morning, PerthNow reported. 

When police tried to stop the car it’s alleged the driver attempted to evade police.

Officers lost the vehicle shortly after and stopped the chase.

The car was found a short time later after crashing into a fence and a parked car on Preston Street in Como.

An 18-year-old woman, six girls aged between 11 to 17 and an 11-year-old boy were apprehended.

A girl and a boy, both aged 11, remain in Princess Margaret Hospital. 

Police are investigating.
